Hi, I just finished the last episode I had no idea it was the last episode until ACME managed to capture all of VILE faculty in like a 3 minute sequence. Tbf I didn't know it was the last season until the last two episodes, where everything came together stupidly fast. I do wish we would have had another coffee scene with Carm & Gray.
I don't mind them not showing Carmen's Mom, it lends credibility to the idea that she was just a civilian. And with Vile gone/Carmen's mom found, Shadowsan was ready to return home with honour restored and debts payed. She knew they'd want to follow/join her to her mom, so she left silently while giving them the means to do what they love. It was made clear that for Zack & Ivy crime fighting was something they'd never give up, while Carm was ready to do so. The two time skips make it all feel rushed.Ībout the actual ending I have less issues. I mostly wish they fleshed out the Dark Carmen storyline, show us Bellum altering her memories, failed attempts to locate carmen by Player and Shadowsan, show her get increasingly more off the hinge so we know why Gray reaches out.
